フラグルロック新作ミニシリーズが Apple TV（米）で開始！

コロナウィルスで在宅が増える中、フラグルロックの新作の短編シリーズ「Fraggle Rock Rock On !」 がApple TV＋（米）で開始されました！
Apple TV＋ の新作としてサプライズ発表されました。

これは現在コロナウィルスの影響で在宅が増えており、ジム・ヘンソンカンパニーのスタッフがリモートワークでiPhone 11で撮影し、声を録音して製作しているそうです。
フラグルたちもそれぞれ別の場所にいて、ドーザーが作ったドーザーチューブなるもので繋がっているという設定になっています。

残念なことに、 Apple TV 日本版からは現在見られません。
米国に繋いでも強制的に日本に飛ばされてしまいます。
みんなで日本からも見られるよう日本版 Apple TVにリクエストしましょうー！

現在1話の『Shine On』が公開されているようです。
毎週5分ほどの短編ミニシリーズが予定されています。

モーキーとウェンブリーが新しい人になっていてとても残念ですが、レッドとブーバーはそのまま続投なのは嬉しいです。

Woohooohooo! Well friends, today is the big day! To say I am so proud to be a part of #fragglerockrockon on @appletv is the biggest understatement. The original Fraggle Rock changed my life. It made me want to work for the Jim Henson Company. It gave me hope during a difficult time in my life. It taught me empathy and kindness and environmentalism and the beauty of diversity and so much more. For the past month we have been creating this new short form series in our living rooms and it’s been the greatest joy of my life and the hardest secret to keep! But now, every week, we can all go back down into the tunnels and caves of the most magical place ever created. The Fraggles are back and the adventures ahead are so incredible- can’t wait for you to see them all! When I was growing up and people would ask me “What’s your dream job?” I would sigh and sadly say- “Its over”. Because my dream was to work on Fraggle Rock and it ceased production when I was 9 years old. If you had told me that 33 years later I would be writing, producing and performing in a new version of Fraggle Rock I wouldn’t have believed it (let alone told me it would be filmed in my apartment....) And my true hope is that these new shorts bring joy and hope and comfort and kindness into the world at a time when families so badly need it. So, now if someone were to ask me what is my dream job? I can honestly say- I’m living it. Hope you enjoy a trip back underground with some old friends! (One big note- since we’re all doing this from our homes, our families have been so supportive and helpful. I could have NEVER done this without the love of my life @devinrneilson who has been my AD, DP, assistant puppeteer and maker of meals! Love you! フラグルロックの大ファンだったジョンさん、子供の頃にレッドのパペットで遊んでいた彼、この仕事はまさに夢だそうです。投稿には今回の新シリーズにかける想いが語られています。
